I swear the NPC AI’s either completely RNG or the AI actually learning to be more aware of what you’re trying to do & gets harder every time it resets. Because sometimes these *NPC MOTHERFUCKERS* just miraculously turned around & stared straight at me & auto detected me completely unprompted, even though I made absolutely no noise whatsoever & or did absolutely nothing to draw their attention in any way shape or form. Or maybe Ubisoft’s just toggling between hard & easy modes whenever someone is getting past the game challenges way too quickly & decides to make them “work for it” by making it absolutely impossible to finish 100% for a certain amount of gameplay hours until they let them pass with an insultingly patronising easy run. 🤬

6 hours struggling but nada. IMO ITS PATCHED

I have found (playing on normal difficulty) that if you want to reliably farm the tail, you really have to get down from the rock, unless you want to spend an hour trying to get a shot at it. Also, I'm using all purple gear, and I've been taking a lot more damage from the disc launchers than you were. I suspect that's a function of the difficulty level. But I've found that I can just use a hunter bow to take down the non-Apex varieties. Occasionally, the game spawns an Apex Thunderjaw, and I have to use some more creative solutions to kill the beast, unless I want to spend an entire hour shooting hunter arrows into it's mouth. Last tip: if you want to try to avoid getting hit with the disc launcher ammo (without having to run around and dodge too much), use tear shot arrows; they peel those launchers off in one or two shots.
